I'm happy with the ice maker repair that technician Dave from D&J Appliance Repair did for me. Dave was at my home within a few hours of calling the company by phone. Dave was knowledgeable and efficient in making the repair. I needed a new motherboard for the side by side refrigerator that held the ice maker. Dave had to take a trip to the warehouse to get the motherboard once he determined that was the problem. When he returned, it was a simple replacement and we had ice again!

The service person was pleasant, however, I was advised that the part needed for my repair was no longer available for my washing machine. The only part he could find was $450. Of we both agreed that I could purchase another machine for that price. I paid the service fee, but did some research myself. I called LG and they suggested I try searching online for the part and was able to find several other small companies that actually had my part. I ordered the part and had it installed and my washing machine is working. Don't waste your time with this company. I wish I would have never contacted them.

Feb 2024 Update. These guys are incredible!! I have. used them several times since last review. Recently, washing machine was acting up. Dave came out to fix. He diagnosed problem, found another issue and repaired that as well. OUTSTANDING job. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Trust worthy, professional.
These guys are fantastic. Great communication. On time. Professional, fairly priced, no surprises. Just used them for second time, great job. Dave is great to work with.

A gentleman named Norman showed up the same day I called. He was very knowledgeable, and was able to fix my induction stove. I had paid for three other people before but they collected their fees and were not able to fix the issue. I am very happy with service they provided.

We called D&J repair because our LG refrigerator stopped working. We initially tried going through the manufacturer but they were not helpful nor responsive to a quick visit. Dave came out and immediately and knew it was a compressor issue once he took the back off the refrigerator. He gave us a quote and we were thinking we were more likely going to buy a new refrigerator. After realizing the cost to replace with a brand new refrigerator, we opted to repair it. I am very happy that we did because Dave did such an amazing job and a quick turnaround. Plus, the cost of a new refrigerator would have been thousands more in comparison to what we were looking for. We now have a working refrigerator and freezer and we are not stressed anymore. Thank you Dave for being great at what you do! I also appreciate how it took half the time to do the repair than what I initially thought. I would definitely suggest this company, specifically Dave to do the visit.
