I had an amazing experience buying my 2023 GT Mustang from this dealership at 19 years old. From the moment I walked in, they treated me with the utmost respect and as an adult, which really stood out to me. They gave me a fair price for my trade-in and were honest and transparent throughout the entire process.

The sales team truly treats you like family and has your best interest in mind. Of course, it’s their job to sell, but they weren’t pushy at all. They allowed me to make decisions on my time, which made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. Overall, this is an incredible dealership—nothing like the typical, high-pressure places like Sandy Sansing. If you’re looking for respect, fairness, and a team that cares about your needs, this is the place to go!

This is one of the best dealer experiences I have ever had. No games, no hidden fees, quick responses, and customer service that was unmatched in my auto history. I buy several cars, and was pretty convinced that manufacturer direct was going to be a better sales model, until this experience. Moyer’s price beat all the “big” dealers in the region that claim volume gives you an edge. The sales person was on it, and always got back to me. I am technically still waiting for final pricing from a few other dealers.

From a full tank of gas, to a courtesy ride for my wife who forgot her wallet, Moyer Ford does all the little things that other dealerships seem to have forgotten. If you want a knowledgeable sales staff, and a dealership that will just make a deal rather than wasting your time, Moyer Ford, except no substitutes.

I would not recommend this dealer for anything service related. I suggest you find another dealer to use if your vehicle needs serviced.

Communication was the biggest issue until I reviewed my dashcam and saw the condition of the shop. As you can see in the pictures from December 26th, the service bays do not represent a professional repair shop. The apparent lack of pride in their work areas leads me to believe they treat customer’s vehicles with the same disregard. The bays were dirty, trash laden, and disorganized. This is obviously how they left the shop at the end of the day on the 24th. Also, it’s not just one messy bay, it’s multiple bays. It is clear management has very low standards if any at all.

My experience started when I went in to schedule my truck for a transmission recall on December 20, 2024. Autumn helped me and scheduled my truck for December 26, 2024. I told her my driver’s side turbo was leaking coolant too and I needed an estimate to repair it. She said they would have to diagnose it and couldn’t tell me how much it would cost. She said the diagnosis would cost $99. I told her I already diagnosed it and it just needed fixed because I didn’t feel like repairing it myself. She said there was no way around the fee, and they had to diagnosis it. I asked if it would at least be deducted from the repair if I got it fixed there, and she said no. She said they’d get the warranty repair done then “diagnosis” the coolant leak. She also said it would be another day or two for the other repairs if I chose to repair it.

I dropped my truck off in the evening of December 25th. On the 26th, the next day, Autumn sent me a text at 0847, after accomplishing the warranty repair, with a $1,077 estimate to repair the coolant leak. I responded immediately telling her to go ahead with the repair on the driver’s side only. On December 27th, at 1418, I sent her a text asking for an update on my truck but didn't hear back. At 1605 I tried calling her, but it went to voicemail. At 1606 I called the service department, and they said she left for the day. I asked them for an update and the male technician said he thought the mechanic was on a test drive with it or he might have gone home already. That was two very different possibilities. He said he would check and call me back. He never returned my call. The 27th was a Friday so they were closed Saturday and Sunday.

On December 30th at 0808, I sent Autumn a text asking for a status on my truck because I had to travel to Texas for work on January 2nd. She did not respond so at 0924 I called the service department and asked to speak with Autumn. Wendy said she was off all week. I explained the situation and asked for an update on my truck. After a few minutes she returned to the call and said my truck was not done and they wouldn’t be able to get to it until the end of the week. I told her I needed to leave for Texas on January 2nd and would not be back for 3 weeks. I asked if there was anything they could do to get it done. She said she would speak to the mechanic and call me back. About 30 minutes later she called and said they couldn’t fit it in. I said OK and told her I’d pick it up later that day.

When I went to pick my truck up, they tried to charge me $99 for the diagnostic fee which was an insult because of the poor communications I experienced and the fact that my truck wasn’t repaired. I told the lady I wasn’t paying the invoice, and I needed to speak to the manager. She spoke to Wendy in the back then Wendy came to speak with me. Wendy said the manager waived the fee but was busy and couldn’t come speak with me. Then she said you diagnosed it anyway. I took my key and left.

I don't expect perfection by any means but this was ridiculous!

I can not speak on the sales end of things.
Service, I bet the mechanics/technicians know what they are doing. I actually know one of them personally.
BUT THE SERVICE WRITERS....
Whole other story. They WILL, and I mean absolutely, WILL charge you the utmost that they think they can get away with.
I had a pinion seal leak, slow. It's located on the deferential towards the cabin. Super obvious. I happen to have been a mechanic specializing in resto-mods. When I tell you this is something that a 10 year old can figure out... I'm not exaggerating at all.
So, she wants to charge me for diagnostic. That would be 160 dollars.
Btw their hour rate is 160, kinda average.
But it doesn't take an hour to look under a TRUCK on the ground and see what the issue is.
My truck has an update for the PMC controller. Diagnostic needed and hour worth of labor would be another 320, please. Literally takes 10 to 20 minutes. Ford's software is slower than dial-up internet, so there's that. But not an hour.
Because of the update, I need an oil change (no, actually, you don't need an oil change when doing a SOFTWARE update) and a new updated oil dip stick. Didn't even ask me if I had already done that... FYI, I did.
Bet she was gonna try to charge me an hour of labor to replace the dip-stick.
I went here because I don't have stable ground to lift my truck, no driveway, really. Figured it would be more time-saving just to send it to a shop.
Instead, I sent the truck to another shop.
Bought a specialty adapter for my OBD2 to reflash me own codes. They are expensive, but probably less over time than this Ford dealership. They also were backed up like 3 rows of cars, a lot of freaking cars waiting for simple stuff all the way to engine and transmission replacements.
Humm, maybe I should stop buying Ford đŸ€”
Well, Mrs. Autumn... here is my "survey" response. I hope all customers avoid you.
And to any mechanics here at this dealership. That happen to read this. Both the places below are hiring. The first one I asked out of curiosity how much the pay is. It's pretty good. And I have been where you are working for a different brand as a technician. It sucks and feels bad morally.
I'm giving this location 2 stars instead of one simply put because of the first contact I ever had with. This dealership was actually pretty good over the phone. It was not Mrs. Autumn however
There are 2 amazing shops nearby. Unless you are under warranty, i would highly highly recommend these places.

One is Midway Auto Repair: Owned by an old grizzly mechanic that restores old cars but can also work on your Bently.

Two is Riviera Tire and Automotive: Larger shop, super fast turn around locally owned and operated, and fairly priced with cost told up front.

Picked up a beautiful 2016 Mustang from these guys for a sweet deal. Now I worked in car sales for years so I mean it when I say these folks know what they're doing. They will give it to you straight and go to work for you. I was very pleased with how they handled this purchase, as this was a big deal for me. I was treated with professionalism and courtesy, which seems harder and harder to find these days. If you're in the market for your first big car purchase, or if you're like me: your 54th, come talk to these folks. They will tell you what can and can't be done and not waste time.

You can't talk to the service department. Wanted the works and new wipers, they only only did an oil change. No review of the car. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Our son also stopped going to Moyer. They are the only Ford dealer in Foley, and act like it. I will drive to Pensacola from now on. I tried to talk with them again about the poor experience, but no call.

UPDATE

After reading this review, the General Manager contacted me. I will say I have a much better view of Moyer Ford. The General Manager is handling the matter exactly the way a good Manager should! I will have this repair done at this location. I am optimistic that future visits will be much more professional.

And a sincere Thank You to Pat Francis. I look forward to meeting you soon.

If I could give negative stars, that would be my rating for this location. Their disrespect and lack of customer service does NOT deserve even 1 star!

I chose to bring my car to Moyer Ford because I believe in supporting local business. But I now regret that decision.

I recently took my car to Moyer Ford in Foley. What I thought was a bad water pump (which would have been covered by the additional insurance I carry) turned out to be a hose that needed to be replaced. Since this was something I would have to pay out of pocket, I can not afford to have the repair done right now. I am disabled and need some time to come up with the money. My intent was to bring the car back when I have the money to pay for the repairs. However, after the treatment I received when I went to pick up my car, I wouldn't bring any vehicle to this location for even the smallest of repairs.

When I went in to get my key and pay the diagnostic fee, I was handed my key and the young lady pointed to the parking lot, saying "Your car is parked out there". However, my car was not in the parking area she indicated it would be. My boyfriend went back inside and told them the car was not there, and a gentleman told him to "hit the panic button" on the keyfob to find the car. Then another lady came over and said the car was in the lot north of the building. So we drove around that lot, 3 times, but still my car was no where. So we drove around the back side of the building. That's where my car was parked, dirty, and wedged between the detail shop and a storage container. As I approached my car, I noticed a piece of the door handle was missing. I had already lost most of my patience by this point, but this sent me to a whole new level of furious!

My boyfriend went back inside to have someone come out to my car because of the missing piece. The same woman that sent us to the north parking lot came out, but with a obvious attitude. Very rudely, she went to my car, opened the driver door and pulled out the missing piece. She popped it back in place, then looked at me and said, with a very snide tone and extremely rude attitude, "There!" [now your door is fixed] (I'm paraphrasing, I was pretty upset so I don't remember the exact words she used, other than "There!") I will admit at this point, I lost my cool! There were plenty of expletives passed back and forth. Then she said something to the effect of "because you don't want to pay for the repairs!"

From that statement, I could see the reason my car was so haphazardly parked and we were treated so disrespectfully was because they assumed we weren't going to have the repairs done there.

Before this exchange, I was going to bring my other vehicles here for repairs. But, rest assured, I will take all of my vehicles ANYWHERE other than Moyer Ford in Foley!

My wife and I had an excellent car buying experience with Moyer Ford. We had visited multiple other dealerships when we were car shopping, and they all felt like "salesmen" trying to get our money. We never felt like that at Moyer Ford. We always got a sense of honesty/transparency, and they treated us like friends and family. Karyn (our salesperson) was very accommodating and communicative throughout the entire process from test driving to delivery of our custom built vehicle. When our vehicle arrived without the trailer package already installed, the Moyer Ford team worked together and prioritized us so that the vehicle was ready to go by the time we finished the paperwork. My wife and I were not looking forward to the process of buying a car and filling out an excessive amount of paperwork, but I can honestly say that they made it an enjoyable experience. This family owned dealership has top notch employees. If I am ever in the market for another Ford, I will definitely come back to Moyer Ford. The reviews online for the Moyer Ford Service Department are very positive, and based on my experience so far, I fully expect to receive nothing but excellent service from them when my car is due for service.
