I accompanied my mother to her colonoscopy appointment, and unfortunately, Dr. Steven Fayne did not greet us upon arrival. He simply handed us the paperwork to complete. When he inquired about previous exams, I informed him that they had been done in Colombia, to which he responded that if they were from Colombia, they were not valid. His demeanor was unprofessional, lacking empathy, and he showed little courtesy. He left the room without saying goodbye and merely instructed us to proceed to the checkout. It was evident that he was disengaged and lacked the compassion that patients expect. I cannot recommend him in any capacity.

My husband has been seeing Dr FAYNE for years and has had colonoscopies and an endoscopy. I had my second colonoscopy with him yesterday. We have only great things to say about him and our experiences at the outpatient facility. Yes he does ask you to read the prep paper slowly. So? He’s got a great personality and genuinely cares and seems to love what he does. I’m actually sad that by the time I need my next colonoscopy In ten years he will probably be retired. Other than the yucky prep solution, the rest of the process is positive.

My experience with Dr. Steven Fayne was not good. My first visit to schedule a colonoscopy he hands you a paper for the prep procedure and says at least 3 times keep reading slowly. Answers no questions as he gets up to leave the room. Asked a personal question about my problem with bowels and he said that's not a medical terminology. Not true! Nurses confirmed that. No bedside manner. Procedure done and same attitude. Returns after procedure and tells you the results are fine and walks out. No friendly voice at all.

We called five five times today to make an appointment and we were trying to talk the clerks, Who then transferred us to the Trish with billing, Who talked over us, and just Frustrated even more…..
we never even got an appointment we were referred to this doctor. I don’t think we’ll be seeing this doctor if we can’t get past the annoying people that make the appointment how would we ever get to see the doctor?
The staff answering the phone was not pleasant, was not helpful, and was not willing to listen to anything we had to say nor our concerns. Trish topped the last call off with her nasty attitude.
So why would we subject ourselves to this facility? No tbank you !

Dr. Fayne is a TRUE professional and displays real concern for his patients. Just had a procedure done with him ,and the experience was a fast & pleasant . I would definitely recommend him as a gastroenterololgist to anyone.

Dr Fayne and staff members are very professional and friendly at his office
Procedure of endoscopy was done 2 weeks later at Plantation surgical center 300 NW 82 Ave
Excellent place to have a procedure done
From front desk, check in, prep op nurses
Dr Fayne very professional and courteous
I would recommend anyone to Him for upper endoscopy.

HORRIBLE DOCTOR. He did not want to answer any of my questions. I get it, doctors tell you what's needed but he didn't allow me to ask or be curious. I normally see doctors being compassionate and listeners who are good and genuinely caring for patients. I have gallstones in my gallbladder. I would continuously ask him, "What caused the problem" and he would only tell me one word answers. He can't go into detail. He just kept telling me. don't complicate things its simple "surgery". Surgery isn't always the answer. I am not even in pain or feeling horrible. It's a small problem. DOESN'T LISTEN. ALL CARES ABOUT IS MONEY. And sending the patient to surgery to his little friends. People, find a compassionate, caring and good doctor please.
