Great doctor, terrible staff.

Any time I have a procedure here, I am left holding the ball to

1. Schedule follow up appointments
2. Make sure those appointments were scheduled for the correct provider and location by the phone staff.
3. Ensure the staff submit preauthorizations to insurance correctly.

Most recently, I had a diagnostic procedure done around the 20th of June. After just under a month with no word on scheduling of the actual treatment, I reached out to them only to find out they’d not submitted a pre authorization yet at all. They blamed their systems for this, and said they’d submit it.

You can find multiple other negative reviews about this EXACT same situation, complete with the same excuses.

A few days later, they started the work on a preauth for another diagnostic procedure instead of the actual treatment, but still never sent even this to my insurance.

A week later, after not hearing from the staff yet, I messaged them again on Thursday the 25th. They didn’t reply until the next Monday, by which time I had already called in and discovered the above issue (they submitted the preauth for the wrong procedure).

The nurse I spoke with, Melda, refused to transfer me to someone who could help, and said I’d receive a callback instead. She also blamed Dr Diebolt for “editing his note after we had already submitted the referral”, but this wasn’t true.

I received a callback at the very end of the day from Christa/Krista White, who told me she would begin looking into the issue the next day.

At 10 the next day I received a call from her again, this time informing me that they wouldn’t be able to resubmit the preauth until the next week, now putting me at 1.5 months before a pre authorization would even be submitted, much less when I would be able to schedule the procedure itself.

Unfortunately, while Dr. Diebolt is an AMAZING doctor, the rest of the staff at ADC are not.

I have tried calling Kim, the practice manager, who replies to every negative review on this page multiple days in a row, have left messages, and never heard back from her.

In short: there is no way to escalate any issues in a meaningful way at this practice. This, combined with apathetic, overworked back office staff leads to a standard of care that is unacceptable.

I have been cared for by Dr. Diebolt since he began his practice at ADC. Skeptical of seeing a new doctor after prior issues with others, I went to him with my issues. The difference has been phenomenal. He actually listens to you, discussing all options with caring and compassion. For the years I have been with him, nothing has changed in how he runs his practice. He still listens, understanding and explaining my best options. He has kept me going all these years and I refer all to him whom experience issues like mine or worse. Hands down, one of the best doctors I have chosen. You will be taken care of.

I recently referred my sister because I just truly appreciate his kindness and making sure that we are ? percent taken care of and not trying to find ways to bring you back in if not needed. Dr. Diebolt is very kind and really listens to you. His bedside manner is top tier and his MA also does a really good job. I’ve had a bit of an emotional and tumultuous journey trying to get care for my neck and back as affordably as I can and they have really taken my needs into consideration. It is such a relief as a woman to have a doctor listen and care, I highly recommend this clinic!
