I used DDC for DNA testing for citizenship/passport purposes after extensively researching all available options.

As someone living outside the USA and unaware of reliable options, I was naturally cautious and a bit paranoid given the importance of the case.

The rep, Carolyn, was super friendly and answered all of my questions. The responses were human and accurate to my case which boosted my confidence, and I decided to go for it. From payment to delivery to testing, everything went extremely smooth.

Your mileage may vary, but in my case, my experience couldn't have been better.

Don’t waste your money! I’m surprised the Canadian hospital recommended this company it was a waste of everything. We needed this for work purposes, and they didn’t even include our names on the test which should be the basic. It looks so generic, like it could belong to anyone. I tried calling the agent back and the number is not in service.

I attempted to reach an agent at 800-352-1811 but could not connect after a 90-minute wait. Could you provide a direct contact number where an agent can be reached?

Each sample in the basic home test is labeled with the individual’s name on the envelope, so why is identification an issue?

Still no reply from them even after sending multiple emails and try to reach the agent the sent the information via email and the one via phone just went nonexistent and number was out of service.

SKIP THE HEADACHE AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

If you are in Canada I suggest DNAForce atleast you can reach an agent to speak with when there’s a concern.

Just horrible! They pretend like the results will be there a day or two after they receive the test. Meanwhile my test has been sitting there for 3 days now and they keep on saying the tests are not in the system yet. Why charge 400 dollars and an expedited services if you can’t provide it? I would’ve gone elsewhere if I knew they cannot actually fulfill what they’re claiming. Unbelievable

If you love to wait for over a month and still will not get your results, this is your dream company. I was contacted from a woman in my past to let me know I might have a daughter that I had no idea about. So after talking to her I went to Walgreens and purchased a rather expensive test package to conduct this DNA testing. Normally I research a company based on customer reviews BUT I neglected to do that here. Huge mistake. After sending off the test samples and paying a lot more money to actually run the test, I was told it would take 1 to 2 days to get results. Well after multiple emails to inform me of "TEST DELAY NOTICE", I received a request for more test samples, meaning probably lost the original. The young lady and i live in separate state, so having them send out more test swabs was a task. After mailing items to 3 separate states I finally got the 2cd test swabs in the mail. Besides the emails demanding full payment before any test would even start, which I paid immediately, I recieved an email on 07/01/2024 acknowledging they have received the samples. Today is 08/13/2024, I sent the duplicate samples on 08/09/2024 and not so much as a peep from them. If you have any other options to find answer on sensitive subject such as this, BY ALL MEANS TAKE IT. If by chance you try to call these people, you better have your plans for that day cleared. Ist call I was on hold for 1 hour and 36 minutes. That is their normal wait time. God forbid you need to be transferred to a different department, expect that wait time to double. Don't believe me? Just call the number of their website. Very quick to receive the funds but after that you are a second thought.

I was told over the phone the results because I told her I never received the link. She told me he is the father and I’m having a girl. I was over joyed told him he was excited then comes today I get my physical copy dna was inconclusive for gender but somehow they can determine the father not being the correct person. Also I’m not having a girl I’m having a son. I’m so depressed they made me look like a liar and they won’t send me the allele because there isn’t enough fetal dna. Don’t test here if you do wait till the baby is born. Many factors in my case for the fetal dna not to be accurate I was to early in pregnancy I was suffering from sch bleeds and in the past got blood transfusions.

I am writing this as I wait from the customer service department to answer my call. I’ve been in hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes (this isn’t the first time I’ve had to wait an hour). They don’t even have a call back option so you have to keep holding. This sums up the experience. Just find another DNA testing agency that will actually have a customer service center, and is clear on the status of your case. I have a USCIS ask and these people can’t even give me an update. They somehow said 1 of the people doing the test was missing the last name. HOW? They ask for your ID before you take the test so how can they not even get that right?

When you first reach out to them.. their sales people are great. They will reply quickly and set you up but that’s because they want you to be a customer. Once you pay up… absolutely terrible experience. You’ve been warned.
