I have been to this lab for the past 3 years. I use this lab as I am unable to have my labs drawn from another site due to blood bank regulations. This lab has had a high turn over rate of phlebotomists and front end staff. I routinely have issues with the phlebotomists forgetting or leaving out lab orders. This is even with double checking them and having them read back to me. Some of these labs are vital for blood transfusions. Furthermore, if you do not schedule your lab time then you can expect to wait from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Today there was a sick call off with 4 phlebotomists calling in. When you try to speak to the managment they will always be unavailable or not call you back. This place is a mess.

The best. These phlebotomists are PROs. Every time I have my blood drawn somewhere else I can feel the needle and end up with a giant bruise. Not at the waterfront lab! Sure the check-in can take a bit depending on when you go—but the part that matters is easy and painless. I just had bloodwork done at legacy and my bloody, aching arm made me think fondly of OHSU and prompted me to write this review.

Pro tip: avoid the lab on the hill, unless you want a student to practice on you (which I don’t recommend). I asked and was told there are no students at waterfront.

A 1 hour wait for a less than 5 minute lab draw. Not enough chairs for people to sit. They don't call out names loud enough to hear if it's your turn.

The staff here are always really kind and professional. It’s less busy before lunch. Even when busy, it goes fast.

Do not come here unless it's a last resort. Terrible customer service and poor management. Staff treat complainers even worse making them wait longer than necessary as a form of retaliation. Not enough chairs for people to wait in.
Wait times are insane at close to 2 hours or more.

Convenient location and friendly staff. They recently changed their hours and they are currently listed incorrectly on google! They are open M-F 8:30 am - 5 pm, Sa-Sun 7 am - 3:30 pm
