Billed me for the full amount and Idid not realize that they did not bill insurance. Called to rectify the issue and was told that they couldnt do anything because of the healthcare exchange cyber hack. This was 6 months ago. They continue to state that their systems are down and cannot process a refund. Should also be noted that I paid the full bill and they did process my claim through insurance after the fact and received payment from my insurance company as well.

This company, owned by Sonic Healthcare, in my opinion, seems to be running an insurance scam or otherwise illegally billing patients. I received a bill for pathology services, that they DID NOT even submit to my insurance. I've reached my out of pocket and deductible for the year, and since they are in network, I shouldn't owe them anything. They are still demanding payment and threatening me with collections.

I alerted my insurance company and they are taaing action against them. Additionally, I emailed every c-suite executive at Sonic Care and received a phone call back from a lady that told me their systems are down and that there is nothing they can do. This is NOT good enough when you are dealing with cancer patients! I sincerely hope my insurance drops their contract with them, and after they finish their full audit, reports them for insurance fraud.

I urge anyone having billing issues, to call their insurance company and report them. Additionally, it's worth your time to email the higher ups and at least create a paper trail.

Terrible experience just trying to pay my (very small) bill before it gets sent to collection. I've called many times in the past few days, today I've been on the phone for 3 hours, constant run-around and long hold times, no one can process my payment. I frequently get routed to a billing department that is on holiday, it took me 10 more minutes just to find out that it was an international holiday because the billing is being outsourced. This kind of administration is a special circle of hell, I cannot explain my extreme frustration without sounding like an insane person.

Sends a bill with no clear communication around which service was provided, and threatens to send to collections over a small copay. Don’t bother trying to reach them by phone; look at the reviews on their other locations. Seems they tack on charges wherever they see convenient. Very shady operation that should be investigated.
