I'm so happy to have found this place! I was a patient for years at a larger, conventional clinic. I'd found that my doctor there was a nice person, but fairly unavailable and tended to downplay my chronic issues and I felt like I had to push hard for any treatments or recommendations.
But after my first visit with Dr. Vickers at A Balanced Life Healthcare, I felt sure that I'd made the right choice in finding a new provider. She really listens to me and is enthusiastic about getting relief for my physical and mental health concerns. I finally feel like I have a doctor who advocates for me. It's easy to see that Dr. Vickers is very intelligent and has respect for her patients.
I've also been enjoying my acupuncture sessions with Dr. Kahn. She is very kind and thoughtful; making sure I am comfortable at all times and that all my questions are answered.
These two women, and their helpful desk staff, have certainly improved my life in the 3 months I've known them and I hope to be a patient of theirs for a long while.

Dr. Sean Horan is the most thorough and knowledgeable doctor I have ever had. He genuinely cares about your health and well being, and spends the time needed to ensure that you fully understand your treatment plan. He’s very caring and personable.

Julie is an amazing acupuncturist! I've received great care while working with her with my chronic pain over the last year, and the healing results have been life changing. The front desk folks are also awesome, accommodating, and very caring. Couldn't recommend her and the staff enough!

Dr Kahn is the first doctor I felt comfortable enough to go to repeatedly. She's wonderful. She's thoughtful, nice, compassionate, and she listens to you. Like really listens. She gets a picture of your health as a whole, rather than just concentrating on one thing. She's helped me understand my insurance and worked with me because it sucks. You do need to be able to walk up stairs to go here, so I don't recommend this place if you can't. Otherwise, I think everyone should go here.

I'm so grateful A Balanced Life came into my path and even more grateful Dr Julie Khan has been taking care of my needs over the last year. It's a blessing there are state programs to help me receive care I need and it's an extra blessing I have such an open and caring doctor to help me. She listens fully and always makes sure I am comfortable throughout my appointment. Today was my first visit during COVID and they have very safe guidelines they are following to make sure everyone working is safe and to make sure patients get the help they need during this time.
