Bought my brand new home in May 2024 and all my windows came with cordless blinds from A Better Blind.
The kitchen window blind (that is the same size as 2 other in my house) was not pulling up properly, ending up crooked with one side not going completely up.
I filed a warranty claim with my builder and they requested the manufacturer to come and fix it.
The company came one morning to check on the blinds, but basically nothing was done, they said that this problem is really common because it is a wide window.
Why it doesn’t happen with my 2 other windows that has the same size ?
They instructed us to keep pulling up and down as many times as it needed for the blinds to fully roll up
We told them that it is not practical to keep doing this and the blind should come up at the first time is pulled up like the other windows.
They insisted that the wide window is the reason for this issue, the blind is too heavy.
If they don’t want to replace the blind, they should somehow fix the spring that does the traction of the blind when it’s going up for stronger spring.
For me, it looks like the spring on the left side is weaker than the spring on the right side
In a nutshell, CHEAP PRODUCT with EVEN POORER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Our 5 yr old condo had these blinds and they have been terrific. One of the mechanisms in the blind broke. My husband called and they sent a new part. He was able to repair in less than 5 min.. I purchased a blind to replace a broken one in my new house. Apparently there’s no warranty. I paid $245 fur before I received it , I saw the exact blind for $75. I purchased the blind from Lowe’s and I returned the blind to A Better Blind. The box had been opened but nothing was opened inside the box. A Better Blind agreed to refund me $150 because of a restocking fee and return shipping. Today these liars and cheats refunded me $75 with no explanation.

A Better Blind installed faux wood blinds in all of our bedrooms, bathrooms and den when we built our home 4 1/2 years ago. The tilt mechanism broke a few months ago in one of the windows. I was concerned I may have to replace the whole blind but after some research I realized I could just replace the part, but I didn't know which one to buy. I emailed the company to see if they could advise me what kind of replacement part to purchase. I received a prompt response, telling me that they would send me the part. The part with clear instructions came in the mail about 2 days later. My husband and I removed the old tilt mechanism and installed the new one. Easy and fast fix and didn't cost me anything! Great customer service!

I have cordless blinds that came with my new home. The blinds are 1 year and 2 months old. One unit will no longer pull down or go up all of the way. This particular window blind has been utilized no more than 5 times in a year and 2 months. Customer service told me a part has been worn down and needs to be replaced. So your product can be worn down with minor utilization in a little over a year I will never recommend the product to anyone.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for my window coverings! I had A Better Blind's white fauxwood blinds in my house when I bought it. Since then I've upgraded to shutters on a few windows and motorized blackout shades in two bedrooms. They have been wonderful to work with and the gallery on their website inspired me to move forward with the upgrades. They also connected me with one of their installers to help me with measure and install. I couldn't be happier!

I bought motorized shades and the somfi remote for my townhouse and they came out so nice that I decided to take the time to write a review. The quality of the shade is great, the installation was quick and the programming of the remote wasnt bad. There are tons videos on YouTube that make the programming easy.
