They overcharged me. $130 for an oil change on a 2006 Subaru. Tried to charge me over $700 for breaks. If I had a newer vehicle I could see why it would cost a lot but the car was old and I was told it’s easy to work on.

Best shop I’ve ever been to. My car DIED 2 minutes from their shop, they walked out, got the car to the shop, and fixed my problem in 2 hours without an appointment on a Friday afternoon. For an unbelievably good price! I just found my shop for life.

My tail light is not working and I took my car to them. they are mechanic and know very well but they lie to me they need to change wire but it take 1 weeks without doing my job and at last they told me after 1 week keeping my car over there it’s simple wrong bulb and they charge $240 from me because of labor charge. This are gold digger becareful whoever to this place. Stupid mechanic.. never go to this place again.

Paul is a super nice guy and super helpful. He helped with my Vehicle. He took a test drive and figured the problem and he fixed my vehicle. The other guy is also very nice and friendly too. I recommend this auto shop to everyone. This is not the first time that they helped me. We’re new in Colorado but I found the best people at this auto shop.

I bought a fixer-upper. I called around Lafayette to find a shop that could check over my vehicle and let me know what needed to be fixed. In particular, I wanted to know if the powertrain was in good shape before the 3 business days after purchase so I could return it (lemon laws). I knew that one test could be a compression test. So I inquired about that as I was calling around. Shops wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars for the check over and compression test. When I called Automotive Diagnostic Solutions, they informed that a compression test was unnecessary because modern cars check that as part of the routine computer diagnosis when you run the vehicle. If it were a problem then the 'check engine' light would come on and a code would be available to indicate this problem without doing a separate compression test. And, for $75 they checked over my vehicle. At this point they've repaired the problems that they found with my vehicle. The solid competence and reasonable pricing have characterized my whole experience with Automotive Diagnostic Solutions. Skip the other shops and take your car here!

WOW! It has been a while since I have experienced such personable, knowledgable, and honest folks. I hate calling them old school, because it is sad this level of customer service just isn't the norm anymore. Ok, so here's the deal. I bought a 2020 Audi Q5 a few months ago from a major dealership and discovered an oil leak. I took it back to their service center and was informed that the oil level sensor was leaking oil. They declined my request that they make the repair on their dime seeing as I had only put about 3k miles on it, but they did offer to fix it for what I thought was an outrageous amount. That brings me to Automotive Diagnostic Solutions in Lafayette. I call up the owner, Paul, and he suggests I drop the car off to have his technician, Rene, have a look before he can give me a quote. Rene wasn't able to get to it right away, so what does Paul do? He offers me a ride home in his car? Who does that any more I apologize for turning this into a novel. The end result is that Rene magically does the repair the next day (for a much more reasonable amount), and I walked away feeling like I made a couple of new friends. That's how personable these guys are. So genuine, down to earth and happy to explain things to me. A BIG thank you to both Paul and Rene! You have my business moving forward.
