Dr T is by far the best physician I have ever had. As a provider myself, I have a much more critical eye and to show the care, empathy and compassion that he does takes finesse. His bedside manner is impeccable. He is on time for his appointments, gives you the time and attention required, and most importantly makes you feel better. I would recommend him a thousand times over, ten stars if possible.

If I could leave zero stars I would today was at the first issue I had with this urgent care let alone the terrible experience I went through. I’m sharing today as a warning to others. I had a severe seizure around 7 PM so I was trying to get to the urgent care Before they close, I may be five minutes away from the urgent care. It’s around 7:20 PM at this time and Dr. Nelson calls me to let me know after she was informed that I had a serious seizure and I wanted to be a evaluated just to make sure because I had a headache After my seizure So Dr. Nelson tells me she had been there 12 hours today and she would be giving me an abbreviated appointment due to Closing at eight I informed her as well that I would be arriving at exactly 730 so there would be plenty of time to at least evaluate if it was that serious so I could get to the emergency room if needed. The emergency room told me that you are not allowed to be turned away medically from anywhere. I also would like to mention I do have insurance so it was not an insurance issue either. It was simply because she was tired and wanted to go home. I will be following up with a corporate office along with possible, legal action due to the negligence that I received.

I've had good experiences here the several times I've gone in both for urgent care and a PCP visit. They're friendly at the front desk and prompt to call you back. Nurses have all been great and Joy Jessup and Dr. T have both been helpful in my health journey. Facility is clean and well kept with plenty of parking.

Sent to this location for x-rays and a CT scan if needed. Everything was fine until I saw the doctor who read the x rays. Completely dismissive, seemed surprised I was in pain despite the fact that I’d told him several times and the fact I was *literally sent there for x rays due to chest pain.* This is what passes for a doctor at this place, I guess.

He then stated that I do need a CT scan, but he wouldn’t do one (although they have the equipment) and to go to an ER. When I asked what I should do for the pain, he said to take Tylenol.

When I got the notes from the visit, everything was incorrect: my age, the duration of the issue, and his advice to get a CT scan done was omitted even though he’d stated he’d update my chart to include it.

Apparently I forgot how terrible Cone Health is. I won’t be making that mistake again.

WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!! BEWARE! I have been going here for almost 9 years & will NEVER GO BACK! My PCP left in the summer/fall of 2022, and everything has just gone downhill since then. I was NEVER given an estimate for iron infusions, paid THOUSANDS & when I asked for an estimate for further infusions, I was given the “run around”. Finally, after talking to 3-4 different employees in billing, the cancer center, and records and getting NO WHERE, I cancelled my follow up infusions & follow-up labwork. I was also sent to collections by them last year for a bill that I had a payment plan set up to pay off. I was harassed by a collections agency for WEEKS, and finally just paid the entire balance and sent a Certified letter to the collections agency. The last straw was when I ran out of my blood pressure medication, I requested a refill & was told I couldn’t have one. No reason, just a DENIAL! I have hypertension, I cannot go without the medication! I’d be HAPPY to do a visit if I need one(even though I’ve had 6-8 visits and exams this year so far. I will NEVER EVER be going back there again!!

Office manager and receptionists are very unprofessional and rude. I love my doctor but I will not be returning. My billing for my yearly wellness visit was coded incorrectly and they told me my doctor (Catherine Metheney) refused to speak to me about it directly. The office manager initially told me she was out of the office and unavailable to speak with me for a few days and then told me that she refused to speak to me regarding the billing issues before her scheduled return time. As a long time patient I felt I deserved more of an explanation from my doctor and I am disappointed that the office manager has made me feel like I need to find another office where my business and concerns are considered. After bringing this issue up to the billing department they recognized that an error was in fact made and have started the appeal process for me. After reading these other reviews I see that I am not the only one who was made to feel this way by the office staff.

My husband and I have been seeing primary care physician Dr T for years. Great facility of Cone Health! Dr T is most ALWAYS on point with our care! Dr Thekkekandam is for sure one of the best doctors with Cone Health. Overall an excellent facility of health care
