I had an appt for imaging 2 weeks ago but the heat was off in the building so after signing all my forms and paying, I rescheduled my appt. Today, I arrived at 9:03am for a 9:00am appt.
Laurie, the receptionist, was very rude to the poor lady in front of me who was there for imaging. Laurie hatefully and with a condescending voice said, “You gave me mammogram orders. You are not scheduled for a mammogram!” Laurie wound up realizing she wasn’t looking at the right screen, and yhe lady did have an appt.

Then it came to me. She was hateful to me and became incensed when I said I wouldn’t need to arrive THIRTY MINUTES early today since I’d already completed my paperwork. She said, “Excuse me!!!! Then you will have to wait!!!!!” Indeed, it is 10:25, and I am still waiting for a 9:00am appt. Good job, Laurie. Very professional. What a horrible “face” for people needing imaging. Got there before 730 am. Second in line. First lady having an MRI. I wasn't .Filled out paperwork etc., went to waiting area. Waited almost an hour before I spoke up and found out that front desk did NOT notify technicians that I was there. Other patients going ahead of me. Only giving two stars because the tech was very apologetic.

My son had an appointment at 11:00 a.m. We arrived at 10:45. Was called back at 11:06 to do check in for the nurse to do paperwork for registration for Surgery. No labs needed! I went to the desk after being there for 2 hrs and the receptionist said they were running behind. Okay, I understand that. The waiting room cleared out about five times. The first receptionist went to lunch and another lady took her place. I then went back and asked again. She said let me check for you ma'am. Come to find out my sons paperwork was just lying in the back. I pray we never have to go back to this place. And the first receptionist called me back acting like she was the supervisor ? trying to argue with me not knowing I had a witness with me to tell her no ma'am you're not telling the truth and then she proceeded to try to make things right. 100% I don't recommend this place! We didn't get out until 2:30 p.m. poor poor customer service!

The level of unprofessionalism my family endured attempting to schedule a ct scan was disgusting. This facility should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and their unwillingness to schedule a STAT CT. And then avoid utilizing Medicaid insurance in lieu of the initial insurance because the initial provider doesn’t accept it.

They obviously have no real knowledge of how insurance works and because it was the end of the scheduling day turned away a single mother whose children rely on her being alive. But who care about that at Woodland heights?

Visitor/patient beware! This is the second time that I have had to go to this place. Hopefully it will be my LAST. The receptionist is a REAL piece of work. I'm not sure if it was just me, or certain people that rubbed her the wrong way. The older white lady in front of me was attended well, while I was talked down to and made to feel that I was a nuisance to her and should not ask any questions. It was odd to me because she and I are both Hispanic, as far as I know. Maybe race wasn't involved and the fact that I was dressed in shorts and a tee. Whatever the reason, it was uncalled for and did nothing to alleviate my concerns about the medical procedure that I was trying to get prepared for. The nurse that attended to us was phenomenal. Answered any and all questions that we had. If we could have left after speaking to her, this review may have gone different, but since we had to go back out into the lobby again and interact with the receptionist (wore a pink top today, didnt catch her name), it ruined our whole experience. I would rather travel to Nacogdoches or even Houston if it meant not having to deal with her again!

I'm giving a five star rating to Carmen, the awesome lady who did my MRI. She was amazing. If you are severely claustrophobic and are terrified of MRIs, even the open ones, go see Carmen at the Diagnostic Center. She literally went above and beyond to make me comfortable. If it wasn't for her, I would have backed out and not gotten one done. She is amazing at her job. Definitely deserves a raise. 10/10 would recommend.

Nursing staff was excellent: competent, double checked information and shared appropriate information during my process.
A student nurse assisted me under supervision of her trainer/mentor. "Summer" did a great job, caring while applying best practices.

Office staff were professional and helpful during processing. They followed up by phone and with insurance processing.

Great experience. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and efficient. I saw Lisa and Tasha and they were so professional and comforting. Nobody wants to visit these specialists for testing- thanks for a pleasant streamlined experience.
