My mother visited this radiology group and they outsourced the bill to CMRE Financial Services (a debt collection agency) without ever sending her a bill/invoice. Who sends someone to debt collection without first sending them a bill?!?!

We have been trying to resolve this with CMRE for over a year but CMRE only communicates about every 4-5 months. We are currently on hold with the number listed on the DIA website and no one is picking up.

Avoid this group at all costs.

They waited two months AFTER my service & into the new year to bill me so my insurance deductible wouldn’t be met.

Tried calling multiple times & was put on the call back lists. Never got my call returned.

Just got a letter from CRME Financial Services stating I owe 2 bills of $3033 and $408. When I went to DIA billing page it showed my insurance as Indian Hospital and that I have a spouse. 2 problems 1: I would have never gone to any procedure that was not already authorized by IHS claremore as otherwise it wouldn't be paid. 2: I have not had a spouse since 2002. I have had my same phone number for over 5 years.

I had been on medicaid for the last 3 years so I am not understanding why my credit is being destroyed by things like this.

Plus the location of your facility, I have never gone there for any imaging procedure before in my life, and neither has my nonexistent spouse.

Was contacted later on today and the account person was very helpful answered all if my questions and offered to personally get to the bottom to help get this resolved.

New Update on 2/15/23
I just checked the portal and the claim was filed correctly and insurance paid. I give credit to
the representative, Kim Jordan, that they assigned to my case. She was so efficient and diligent. She stayed with this until it was solved. I'm so thankful for her help.

I want it known that ALL my trouble was with billing. I have never had any problems with the staff that I have personally dealt with. They have always made me feel so comfortable during my appointments.

I must give an update. I had a representative contact me the next day. I feel hopeful. Thank you!!

I've been dealing with this billing service since December 12th when I got a random text saying I owed a balance. I knew from my insurance app that it had never been filed. Called and asked them to file with my insurance. Next week I got a text saying this was my 3rd reminder of balance due. I've been going back and forth including a call to them today.
It has never been filed with my insurance. I checked with my insurance first. I need help.

Update....
I talked to Lori Highbarger (a real person in a position to help) and it appears that their billing is done by a 3rd party. Lori confirmed, as another user mentioned the billing company does everything electronic (text/email). In my case the phone number on record does not receive text, so I never received any notice.
She also mentioned that the provider (people who do that actual imaging) have a tendency give DIA partial user information.

Lori did mentioned that the billing company has a tendency to paint a rosy picture but as mentioned in other reviews the user experience is not that good.

I will say Lori did help get this fixed and find out what happened. So I would say to post your issue here and she can help.

This place looks like a scam.
I got a call from CMRA supposed to collect from a debt from DIA.
I tried to verify Diagnostic imaging associates as a valid business and the claim.
DIA's web site does not have a physical location or even a number to make an appointment. The only way to contact them is via email or a billing number. I called the billing number and was on hold for over 40 min with no answer. The whole time I was on hold they kept wanting to do a call back. The whole point of looking up the business and talking to a person is to verify them and not get automated or "return" calls.
I do not remember every going to them and I looked in my pile from the last 10~12 months and I did not see a bill from them (i am good about keeping a record of medical bills even once I paid them )

I have amended to 4 stars because I was called by a very nice lady (Kimberly I think) and she was very helpful. I do hope that they get their billing system fixed in the future. I still don't like the billing system simply because I tried several times to contact them in order to find out what they were billing me for and the phone was never answered and my return phone call options was never returned until the very nice lady called me.

The doctors at DIA are WONDERFUL. I wouldn't trust any other radiology group to read my imaging studies.

Convenience of setting up my own payment plan - nice to see Healthcare is evolving
