I will never set foot into this place again. I was there because I had an appointment for my yearly mammogram. When I was asked on the intake sheet about a concern I was having, I used one word. (Pain) The rude young lady that took me back (I had to greet her because she did not say one word to me when I walked up) told me we need to address this concern! She told me that now, I needed a written doctor's order to proceed with the mammogram since I was expressing problems. She said she needed to contact my PCP to get a doctor's order to proceed with this test. Well, the problem is, I am a Medicaid patient that has been trying for 2 years to get into see a PCP with zero luck because either the doctors are out of network or nobody's accepting new patients. (Our healthcare system is horrible)The only doctors' I am seeing now are my Electrophysiologist and Cardiologist because I have congestive heart failure. I have had heart surgery and a pacemaker inserted just 11 months ago. This rude young lady continued to press me and made me feel like a real loser because she said "You don't have a doctor?!?" Then she has the nerve to ask me, "Then who referred you to your Cardiologist"? I've been seeing my Cardiologist since 2017 because I went into the emergency room. I told her the name of my Cardiologist and maybe he will give the order for this mammogram. She got in touch with him and, of course, he didn't because that's NOT his job to issue unnecessary orders for testing for a yearly mamogram. Long story short, I didn't get my mammogram which I desperately need because I don't have a PCP and my cardiologist denied the order for the mammogram. I left in tears it didn't seem to matter to this nasty tech you hired. Hopefully, the higher-ups at Diagnostic Imaging and the rude and incompetent people you hire are happy with your corporate policies and procedures.

Very kind and friendly people and they will work with you if there is a problem but always call ahead and make sure that you have everything that they need for your appointment

Complete waste of time, scheduling is a joke. Took off work twice for no reason at all. Went in person with the order form from the Dr and was told I had to do an appointment online. I schedule online and when I arrive, she said they need the work order that I scanned in doing the online scheduling. The website, nor the email states anything about needing the physical sheet of paper upon arrival in person?

To be fair, I've had numerous interactions, including annual mammograms, at this location with great results.

Tonight, not so much.

I had an appointment at 6:45 pm for an MRI. I arrived at 6:30 pm. From the moment I walked in, it was clear I was the only remaining client. Every single person I encountered rushed me and made it clear I was keeping them from leaving.

Every. Single. Person.

From the front desk to the technician. I have never felt like such a burden to an organization that is making money off of my presence.

I was rushed at every turn.

I was in the changing room for less than 30 seconds, with paperwork they wanted me to complete, and the technician asked if I was ready. Seriously?

I was there for an MRI on my lower back. My issues are significant enough that I can't walk fast. nor without major pain.

There was NO concern for my mobility, my pain, or for the fact that an MRI is a procedure where claustrophobia can occur for just about anyone. The only concern, clearly, was that we complete the procedure quickly.

My appointment was at 6:45 pm. The MRI was a 20 minute procedure. I was in *my car* at 7:00 pm.

If a 6:45 pm appointment is too late to have employees leave at a time that is appropriate, DON'T SCHDEDULE A 6:45 PM APPOINTMENT.

If an appointment is scheduled for 6:45 pm by your employer, and you want to be out by 7 pm, don't take it out on the client who simply took an open appointment.

I am beyond disappointment. Despite the fact that I've had many positive interactions with this facility, THIS interaction has me investigating alternatives.

Totally unexceptable MRI tech. I have
mobility issues, I use Walker. Suddenly Ms congeniality said leave that here and you’ll walk in. Really? No I can’t. But she helped me. I have issues she hatefully said we don’t help people. So I struggles and tried and was degraded to nothing. This tech is not caring or compassionate, and honest put me in a bad mood. Now my bone on bone shoulder is killing me. You know the MRI was to help us know why I have no mobility, not suddenly expect me to have it. Stay way from this tech at DI.

They've outsourced all of their phone contact services to people with heavy accents and who also cannot handle any request out of the range of anything that goes strictly by the book. You can never reach anyone at this location by phone now unless you already have someone's direct line phone number. So if you have anything different at all, something needing one to one contact with a knowledgeable individual, even a simple question, you have to go to their location in person. I called them FIVE TIMES in one morning & finally just drove over there. I'd even asked on the phone to speak with a supervisor about an issue regarding my referral but that was not possible by phone. When I went to their office the issue was quickly resolved taking far less time than I'd spent on the phone already that morning. But if I have to go there anyway why even call to begin with? I ended up making the appointment on site with people who actually speak understandable English.

Plus what gives this company the right to create circumstances where I'm required to discuss my HIPAA protected information with foreigners?!! I thought that was illegal and I refuse to do it. If I have to discuss with them what my referral is for, then that's HIPAA protected and I have no idea how that information might be used going thru another country whose laws probably don't require them to obey our HIPAA regulations. You have to give them your name, address, insurance information and then find out if they've received the referral for a specific medical condition? No. I'm not giving all that to someone who doesn't even live in this country.

Needless to say I'll be looking for another provider to use in the future. This is wholly unacceptable when it comes to my healthcare. In my opinion they deserve MINUS stars (if that were possible) for pulling a stunt like this.

Diagnostic Imaging in Independence is always my first choice. Great staff and the best technicians. A HUGE thank you to Jade for going above and beyond to get my appointments rescheduled. It truly made this girls day!

20 minutes after signing in and still have not even been registered! Called them yesterday and was told a walk in was better then making an appointment but I see that is not the case!! Avoid this place unless you want a long wait with unfriendly service!!
