I injured my knee playing kickball in December and the ortho I went to ordered a MRI from a different office and diagnosed me with a bone bruise/contusion. He told me on Monday when I still couldn’t walk after weeks of resting etc that I needed a steroid shot and if I didn’t heal he would scope me after the wedding and maybe even need to do a partial knee replacement.

I got a second opinion yesterday and that ortho said the first MRI quality wasn’t good and he thinks I have a meniscus tear so he sent me to DOCS for a second MRI. The staff at DOCS were friendly, timely, caring, and all around amazing. I was cold in the MRI and the gentleman gave me lots of blankets. He also wheeled me in a wheelchair to the MRI and even to my car after. The woman at the front desk walked my paperwork to me since I was on crutches. They even gave me my CD right away per doctor request so I could drive immediately back to my dr to make the diagnosis and determine next steps. Thanks to both of these places I was able to have surgery this morning and will hopefully be able to walk down the aisle and fully enjoy my wedding.

Horrible all around experience here. Waited patiently on a cold, rainy December day for my MRI at this facility. They took me to a truck outside of the building for my MRI. Beware, I had to go up and down slippery and wet metal steps to this MRI . I was soaked by the time I got in the door. The technician had an umbrella, but did not offer me one and it was pouring. I was having an MRI due to dizziness following a head injury, so these factors made the situation even more precarious. I needed to have the exam immediately, and they told me they couldn't get immediate authorization from my insurance company. They asked me to pay for my exam, and told me that I could file on my own. They are contracted providers with my insurance company. They gave me a receipt under the name of a company that it not contracted with my insurer. I tried to get them to correct it many times. Made numerous phone calls to Cheryl and Larry the owner. My insurance company also asked Cheryl to file it under the correct company. She refused to file or provide me with a corrected copy. Poor customer service all around, and they never returned phone calls. I am a nurse practitioner, and I am appalled by their carelessness.

tried to make an appointment by phone. called all day, no answer. left voice mail, no return call. recording says they're open 8-5 M-F, but at 3:30 on Fri., a recording says it's after business hours and leave a message. don't understand why it should be so hard to get a person to answer the phone! terrible health care customer service!!! why?

I’ve gone to Matt for pain management for several months. The sonic wave treatments are awesome! They’ve been a tremendous help for plantar fasciitis and other chronic muscle and joint pain. I highly recommend them.
