Dr. Inserra is an amazing individual and a very knowledgeable doctor! She helped diagnose my mom’s condition after many other doctors weren’t able to correctly identify her issues. More than this, Dr. Inserra spent a good amount of time with us to explain the condition, treatment and answer all our questions. Excellent, comprehensive care. Hearing checks should be done as often as eye exams! Doctor quickly and accurately diagnosed me with an issue not related to my hearing but that affected it. Therefore by addressing the root cause and not just the symptom, my hearing has improved. Highly recommend.

I made an Appointment a couple of weeks in advance for Ear pain & Wax Cleaning. I got a call to confirm my appointment on a Saturday for my Tuesday 10 am appointment. I got a call on Tuesday at 8 AM canceling my appointment due to Technician not coming to work. Understandably, the place might have employee issues (sick, tardy, etc...), but what I don't understand is that they are not able to cover and add in appointments they already have scheduled. This is a sign that they don't care and the patients are the ones that will pay for their not being able to manage employee absenteeism.

I have been a patient of Ear associates for 5 years now. I have been here for multiple visits for my surgery, hearing tests and audiology support.

My experience with Leizel Caliva, the audiologist stands out for being the best one I have had in the last 10 years. I ended up facing issues with the hearing aid company and Leizel went far, far beyond what I expected her to in terms of holding the company accountable, researching and fixing my problems. She's been extremely patient and understanding of my multiple challenges. Its been quite a delight for me to experience what a top class customer service and empathy means in this industry.

I have also had multiple experiences with Dr Jennifer, Dr Farsi and the front office staff. They have all been exemplary and gives me the impression that this is small happy team that takes pride in serving their customers well.

I was not sure I needed to use Hearing Aids but was willing to test. Yes, it was clear I was losing hearing in one ear more than the other. I needed hearing aids &I wanted the best quality for the best price.
Lizelle was aware of my concerns and told me to do what I needed to do so I would be comfortable with my decision. The care and time Lizelle took for me to understand how lack of hearing was affecting my lifestyle, and my well-being was excellent as was her patience with my questions.
I explored another option to purchase and quickly realized the support and care in learning how to wear and use hearing aids was not there.
My decision was to purchase with the Ears option in San Jose.
The coordination between medical questions and hearing questions is seamless. The professionalism of both is excellent.
I am very happy with my decision.

TERRIBLE PLACE. Received a second bill after leaving this review. There're so many hidden charges that was never communicated beforehand. How can you do this to a college student! This is unacceptable and unethical.

Didn't expect to receive a bill charge for an examination that's considered part of the office visit on top of the office visit copay. Poor communication with the receptionist.

The office was very professional. I met 2 different audiologists and were very competent , extremely respectful and polite. Dr Maw was very kind and knew exactly what to do. I trust her 100% and would have no hesitation to see her for any ear issues. I would highly recommend her
