Just schedule your visit on Scarsdale. I had a very pleasant appoint there. Can’t say much about the other location but this one? Completely unprofessional, and rude. I’ve had to ask for multiple days off from my job just for them to be completely lazy and send me elsewhere with false appointment timing. I had to wait an extra hour and 40min.

Cost more than any of my husband's MRIs within the same insurance. The man doing my MRI was great though, precise and to the point and made me feel comfortable. When I went back to get my report and disc, they charged me another $10. Haven't had to do that for any of the other places we've used. Waiting area is always clean though

I had a MRI appointment at 1:00. They called and said they were running late and ask me to show up at 1:30. Wasn't called back until 2:30. Tech asked me how i hurt my lower back. I said my back is fine. I'm here for my shoulder. Finished MRI and waited in lobby for my CD. Received CD at 3:25. Seems they have an issue with scheduling patients properly.

My husband had to get a CT w/contrast. When we arrived the first lady we talked to (window #3) was so nice and helpful explaining how to register. When he was called back, the gentleman who escorted us back to Xray was so pleasant. After Xray, we met with Andrew. He was so personable, knowledgeable, and just a great guy. He took excellent care of my husband. Time for the contrast, Dr. Baker was very thorough in explaining each step for injecting the contrast. This was the best experience for my husband and I. He was nervous and the entire team went above and beyond to make him comfortable. I highly recommend getting any procedures done here.

After having multiple scans done here, I can honestly say the staff and facilities are wonderful. Today's visit was exceptional as Billy was very friendly and it was wonderful seeing him again. He remembered me from the last MRI I had done. What was amazing is how he calmed me just by talking using his kind, caring, and compassionate words. I sure wish Billy could give me all my injections as he never makes them hurt. All of this exemplifies how awesome Gulf Coast MRI is because they hire quality staff to take care of the needs of their patients. I would highly recommend them.

Visit 8-14-23: I debated on giving Gulf Coast MRI four stars because they are good to their patients. However, I had a hell of a time getting them to acquire my insurance approval for an MRI. The first appt. I showed up for and they told me it wasn't approved (they hadn't even submitted my paperwork even though I sent it to them electronically a week and a half before the appt), 2nd appt I called before going so I could cancel my transportation and it wasn't approved.
Today I actually had the test. It was with and without contrast in the open MRI. The technician was nice and had no trouble administering the dye, but they don't talk to you through the intercom like at other facilities to calm you down. I was in and out of the facility fairly quickly. The other thing I noticed here is that they don't offer beverages or snacks for the waiting room like at other places I've been. The waiting room is big and stays busy. Last, the door handle was very loose on the restroom where you change.

Check in was really fast and easy to do since it is on a tablet. Much better than having to fill out 20 forms. My wait time was less than 5 minutes. Nicole was my Tech and she was super friendly and conversational. Even though my entire CT took less than 5 minutes I never felt rushed. She is very personable and told me exactly what was going to happen in the test. In my book, Nicole gets 10 stars!

Entire staff were friendly and professional. Mr. Forrest in CT took excellent care and explained the procedure process in detail.
