From the moment you walk in until you leave the office, the service is phenomenal. I decided to try them based on the reviews to get some skin tags removed. You can call or get an appointment online. I was able to get an appointment with Taylor Hicks PA. Prior to getting the procedure done an associate comes in to explain everything and what the insurance covers so there are no surprises later. A few minutes later Taylor and her assistant Ermal entered the room with a warm greeting. Taylor listened to my needs and then proceeded to remove the tags. She is friendly, has great bedside manner and a true professional. Ermal was equally friendly and professional. I highly recommend them. I found a new home for dermatology!

All the 5 stars reviews about Dr. Catherine Papasakelariou are the least to be said about her. Not only she is super experienced Dermatologist but just as well, she is pretty engaging with the patient and explaining things in a simple everyday English language. I visited her clinic today for prescribing me tablets to take before lipblushing and after lip blushing and she did prescribed me the most up-to date tablets with which to take only 2 tablets two hours before lipblushing and 2 tablets 10 hours later. to stop any cold sore from bursting out of lipblushing! Wow! Each tablet is only 2 mg. I'm a permanent makeup artist, I will make sure to refer all my lip blushing clients to Dr. Catherine to prescribe these amazing tablets before their lip blushing appointment with me! I also went there today to remove some skun tags, Dr. Catherine numbed the skin tags and then removed them just like that and her super sweet assistant Yessenia was patting me on my shoulder with beautiful smile on her face just to give me the reassurance of no pain, even though there was no pain at all. That was so sweet of her. The clinic is pretty luxurious, with great views . Pretty beautiful clinic with great vibes. The whole staff are super nice, efficient and professional. I can not recommend enough Dr. Catherine Papasakelariou and her amazing staff! I'm so glad I found her through my best friend (Google search)

TDLR; patient of 4 years- horrible communication, disjointed prescription policies, and a lack of care for patients’ well-being. Find another doctor’s office for your care. It will save you time, frustration, and money in the long run.

I have been a patient here since 2021, solely for spironolactone to manage my hormonal acne, a medication I have been on since 2016. For the past almost four years, I have happily attended my quick, once-a-year appointments to renew my prescription. Recent events have soured my experience, with the clinic staff, its disjointed policies, and its doctor, Catherine Papasakelariou.

My last visit to the clinic was in November 2023. On Friday, September 20th, I called the clinic to request a one time, one-month refill on my medication since they did not issue me a full year like they have done in the past. The clinic manager refused to issue me a prescription refill because they needed bloodwork to monitor potassium levels.

I was confused by this. I didn’t recall ever needing bloodwork before and they had not informed me of any new policies regarding this during my last visit. As confirmed by the manager, the last time they had ordered bloodwork for me was in 2021, so clearly not too much of a concern then… I offered to send them my bloodwork results from December 2023 from my primary care physician, which she stated would not suffice (who actually bothered to order bloodwork when 'needed', unlike this clinic). The manager said that they would not be able to issue me a one month roll over prescription until my new insurance starts (switched jobs).

She said that she would speak with the doctor and call me back, she never did.

I called again on Tuesday, September 24th. After spending almost 30 minutes on hold with a medical assistant, who stated that she ‘would absolutely call me back if we got disconnected’, I just gave up and accepted that I would have to suddenly go off a med I have taken for 8 years (prescribed to me for 4 years by this clinic)

I never got a call back form the clinic manager I spoke with on Friday or the medical assistant I spoke to on Tuesday. Do not go here. They will abandon you without your medications, even if it has been less than a year since your last visit and you are an established patient.

I love everything about this place and the staff. It live in a metro Houston suburb, but it was worth the drive. The suite is beautiful, clean and modern. The staff (receptionist, medical assistant, dermatologist) all had exceptional customer service/bedside manner. I was able to book an appointment within a couple of days, there was no wait upon arrival, and Dr. Akunna did not rush me. She addressed all of my concerns and did not ask me to book separate appointments for each of them. I had been misdiagnosed and my condition worsened, so I looked long and hard to find a dermatologist who can effectively care for African -American skin. I am so grateful to have found this place. If you like 5 star treatment, I would highly recommend them.

I had the best experience at Houston Premier Dermatology. I live in LA but had an extended stay in Houston, so I decided to get some acrochordons (skin tags) removed. Taylor and Yessenia were amazing. Taylor was so kind and helpful (she taught me the term acrochordons bc let's face it - skin tags is a gross name). While Taylor numbed the acrochordons, Yessenia distracted me by lightly tapping on my shoulder and legs. I felt like I was at a spa. I love this place, and when I return to H-town, I will be visiting my girls at HPD again - for sure.

I had such a pleasant experience at Houston Premier dermatology. The staff was friendly the waiting room was clean and welcoming. They also had beverages and refreshments.
Dr.Tara Kona was so kind and was able to identify my rash and assigned a treatment. She was knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommended!!
