I want to start off by saying that the department of neurology that they have is a Shame on the name of Loma Linda university! My son received an urgent ambulatory referral for neurology by the ER department of Loma Linda itself and yet their own so called Neurology department refuses to accept my son until next year. I have a legal document saying that they are entitled to accept him and yet they are refusing to do so. I will be contacting administration and patient doctor relations to make sure they don’t do anything like this to any patient in the future. Like I said the Neurology department here is a SHAME on the name of this hospital!!!

We are very fortunate to have Dr Firas Bannout treat our son. He always recieves excellent care here and the nursing staff is 100% kind and do thier best to accomidate his special needs. We feel lucky our son goes to Loma linda neurology.

I didn’t rate less than three stars ONLY because Loma Linda helped me when I went to the ER and during my five week stay in the icu then inpatient PT. But as for the Neuro team, they cancelled two consecutive appointments seemed that my Dr was avoiding seeing me. It’s fine, I’ll find a new Neurologist. They need to revise their note on My Chart, you don’t reply in 48 hours, it’s been two weeks. Thanks for seeing me, thanks for telling me I’m progressing very well “inspirational” was the word.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The front desk is extremely rude and refuse to schedule you because they don’t believe you need an appointment! Terrible!!!

Months far out for an appointment then they cancel your appointment the day before. Doctors don’t see their my chart messages as I was told by one of the nurses because “we haven’t fwd it to the Dr” then we have to wait for prescription refills for days

Can’t ask at the appointment cause it was cancelled!

This goes for internal medicine specialty as well- went in person had my nurses call and still can’t get my fn seizure meds. My Nurse calling, pharmacy faxes, in person, my chart THEY DONT GIVE a DAM

Only person who has been great help is Jessica at ext 30** give her a raise

This management, and medical staff at the Loma Linda Nuero surgery department are failing. They do not schedule properly or follow up with you.. I have had so many issues with my after care. I have been told I would be called back more than once with no follow ups. They leave messages giving new appointments with no approval. If you call back to re-schedule, they will only give 1 day, and time for the entire month. They have stopped payment for my disability twice in 6 months. They have said medical equipment will be sent.. nothing has ever arrived. I am beyond frustrated,, I was told by the medical staff that they “would call me back this afternoon” for the last 5 days. After no c/b’s I reached out to patient relations who said I would receive a call by 10am Monday… It’s now 10::45 no C/B

I am wondering about the people that make appointments. I have a referral from Nov 18 that is for an urgent appointment within one week. Today Nov 29 I have not been able to get an early appointment. My scheduled appointment is for Feb 6 which is not acceptable. The Dr. at urgent care wrote urgent in the referral. I have left two messages for a medical assistant to call me back to see if I can get an earlier appointment and no call back so far.

My experience has been with Dr. Bravo; its been a few years now. He uses a variety of ways to keeping my migraines at bay as much as possible. I have no problem getting my meds, ever,because he gives me enough refills until the next appointment where as many drs won't give you any or well maybe then wanting to see you first. He takes him. He acts like you're his only patient for the day.5*
