My husband was recently in hospital for a very scary medical emergency. The ED was packed, but every point of contact, especially Junior RN, was informative and caring. On admission, the nurses, tech's, and CNAs were on point! Nicole RN and Kim RN provided excellent, diligent care. Thank you again for your kindness and helping my husband in this incredibly stressful situation.

I was a patient for several days on Floor 7 and received the ultimate care from the entire team of doctors and nurses. A special shout out to RN, Kaye, for helping me to feel extra comfortable in a time of uncertainty. I would certainly rate 10 stars for my experience here at Prebys Cardiovascular Institute.

I had a friend that I helped take care of. I was absolutely impressed with his care. In addition, this is one of the most beutiful hospitals I have ever seen, my friend had private rooms with an incredible view, and the food was better than most restaurants.

I went to ER Scripps at Genesse ave.
I have a heart problems. I had to go there twice,
second time l supposed to be admitted. Dr.Epstein
stopped that, telling me l have something else.
Unfortunately, after CT l been told l have some abnormalities and that why l have the pain almost
all the time. Dr.Epstein doesn’t care about well being of older and disabled patients. I will not recommend dr.Epstein to anybody. I’m shocked how l been treating in ER, l had to remain RN
about sending urin to a lab and ect. Dr.Epstein and
her staff did everything in their power don’t admit
me. I have a good insurance, l been told to go home with the pain in my chest and shortness of
breath. A good and caring doctor should help her
Patients, but, don’t discharge them without help.

Some doctors and nurses are top notch and some are disrespectful to patients. And overall the coordination among all these vectors, each of which can be dispositive of care outcomes. Without great vigilance by a patient advocate or extremely knowledgeable family member, important matters can easily slip through the cracks.

Just got released after having pacemaker/ICD implant. Rae, Kyle and Bernie were absolutely excellent. All three are compassionate caregivers that need to be recognized for their dedication and professionalism towards their patients. I was always kept informed while at ECU #7 and never left in the dark as to what was happening. The entire staff with names I can’t remember should feel proud. All medical facilities in the San Diego should be required to go and see how treating a patient with respect and dignity is done. Thank you for making my short stay welcoming and safe.

My brother had surgery today. Attempting to reach nurses station to leave a message for the surgeon to call me. NO ONE answers the main line (operator) NOR the cardiac care unit. It just cycles back to the phone tree. 30 minutes so far. I certainly hope he got good care, because I will only find out when he's well enough to call me.

On Wednesday June 21, 2023 I went through quintuple bypass surgery. Extreme shout out to Dr. Stahl my surgeon! Great outcome! And Dr Hong my cardiologist, well done! Without exception, every nurse and doctor who dealt with me was incredibly positive and upbeat. I wish I could name them all, but there were so many. I've been through several hospital experiences but nothing comes close to this one. Kindness, empathy and genuine caring was how I was treated. Incredible experience! These nurses and physicians truly love what they do; it's so obvious. Thank you all for for what you did for me!!!
