After being loyal patients and raving about this being the best clinic in the valley i have reached my limits. I shouldn’t have to call 2-8 times to get a receptionist to stop hanging up on me. I shouldn’t have to keep updating my information on the portal and in person for 1-2 years before you guys finally update all my personal information. I should be given mean looks and judged by the staff when I go to an appointment. This clinic has gone down hill so much in the last years that even though I still feel the same about Dr Richard Stevens being the best in the valley the horrible staff that work in the front are not worth it.

Dr. Stevens is a great doctor who truly cares and will take the time to listen! His staff was also great and followed up quickly with me when needed. I'd highly recommend!

I LOVE Dr. Matthews! He fixed my tinnitus when an ENT couldn’t. However, the support staff is REALLY struggling. They never call back when I leave a message. I left a message to make an appointment, never got a callback and had to call again. After my appointment, I had to call back FOUR times to have my test results explained to me. I gave them ample time each time before calling again for them to call me back, and they just never did.

I felt compelled to write a review because I’ve had the best health experiences at providence family medicine. I’ve been going through a bucket list of health related dilemmas as of recent times. And the staff here has been nothing short of perfect every time I have an appointment. I personally want to thank doctor Johnson, he’s been awesome and I truly appreciate the advice I’ve gotten, as well as the care that I’ve gotten from him. Guys if you’re looking for a new office to visit for your health needs, I Truly believe this team is as good as it gets!! Thank you guys!!

I have been so impressed with Doctor David Johnson! He takes time to explain things thoroughly, get all background information, and answer my questions. He is the kind of doctor that really cares about his patients. We need more like him! (The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, which is always so nice!)

I called ahead of time to make sure they could provide the service I needed, and was told they could. But when I went in, I was told that I would actually have to go somewhere else for what I was wanting. I was a little irritated about my time being wasted, but no big deal.

Two months later, I got a $50 bill for my appointment. I called trying to understand why I was being charged when they hadn't actually done anything and was basically told I should be grateful because they'd given me a discount, and they'd have my manager contact me. He called a few weeks later and said he'd look into it.

One month later, I hadn't heard anything and I was sent another bill. I called again and eventually the manager got back to me. He said there was nothing they could do and I was stuck with the bill.

It's unbelievable to me that I'm having to pay $50 for a two minute conversation. I wouldn't have been there in the first place if their staff hadn't told me they could provide the services I was looking for, so it should be their responsibility. And it's crazy that it took so long to have the issue "resolved".

I went back and forth about posting a negative review, but the thing is, healthcare professionals need to be held accountable for their actions. This kind of behavior is not unique to this clinic, and it's not okay. This is what keeps people from going to the doctor when they need care. $50 might not seem like a lot but for some people it's a really big deal. Please, be better than this next time.

I had an appointment to establish care as a new patient. I provided recent lab results and gave contact information to obtain my prior records. If any of those were ever reviewed I don’t know. I have been referred to specialists for conditions and medications that my previous primary care was fine managing, so I am not getting much help so far. The front staff are great, just not at all happy with my provider. Maybe someone else in the same office would be better.

Dr Johnson is amazing!
Let me start with the fact that in this valley there are no doctors accepting new patients, also, if you find one that does, the waiting time for an appointment is at the minimum 2 months!
Not in this case. Not only Dr Johnson is wonderful but we were able to schedule an appointment right away!
All the members of my family are switching care to Providence Family Medicine with Dr Johnson.
