Dr. Sagerman has a great bedside manner. He is friendly, informative and he takes the time to make sure you understand all of the information he's giving you. His nurses are very helpful, friendly and funny too.

This is the first time seeing the Doctor at this office. He was very thorough in diagnosing my finger, and taking care of it. Sending me home with the supplies that I needed to keep up with my finger infection.

I saw Dr. Sagerman after being told I would need surgery to remove a bone in my fractured wrist. The fracture was missed by another doctor and not even diagnosed until 7 weeks from the injury... thus the primary healing time had been passed. I did not want surgery if there was any way to heal it. Dr. Sagerman told me it was a difficult to heal injury and that he thought there was a chance, that if we gave it time... it might heal on its own. He got it in a functional cast. He put in for me to get a bone stimulator to use daily. We didn't see progress immediately, but within a couple of months, the bone started fusing back together. It was ultimately healed completely back within 6 months. I must also add that Dr. Sagerman ALWAYS took his time and explained everything in the imaging taken from my CT scans, MRI's etc. NEVER did he try to rush me out of the office nor dismiss me. He even called me himself when I had an issue with another staff member in his office. I can't say enough about him and how kind and caring he is with his patients. I was so glad he was willing to help me get my injury to heal without surgery!

I saw Dr. Sagerman today after being shuffled around by 2 other shoulder surgeons. He spent a lot of time with me today. He made a diagnosis, and a plan for treatment. I thought he was great and I would highly recommend him to anybody who needs help. I'm so happy I went to see him.

Dr. Sagerman is an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled surgeon, as well as a kind and empathetic person! We came to Dr. Sagerman after seeing 2 other surgeons for help with my mom, who took a bad fall and broke her wrist. Dr. Sagerman took his time to thoroughly examine her, presented us with our options, explained pros and cons and answered our numerous questions patiently and completely. He and Dr. Birman did a fantastic job repairing my mom's wrist! She has since regained full function of her wrist and we could not be happier. The follow up, physical therapy, technicians - the whole team was also outstanding. We highly recommend Hand to Shoulder Associates to anyone who needs care of an upper extremity!

I tore my bicep at work, he seen me and was able to tell in almost seconds that it was a complete tear. They were able to get me in surgery quickly to repair my arm, and all follow up appointments he was very thorough and was able to check my progress in therapy. Great doctor IMO. I would recommend 10/10 to anyone.

Waited 1 hour past appoint time doctor saw me for about 3 minutes said they would set up time for surgery. They never got back to me after I made repeated calls to find out about surgery. Could not get xrays from there office no one would call back. Went and had surgery done by another doctor. Complete waste of my time with Sagerman. Sent bill for 45 minutes of his time including xrays. I had to pay for xrays from another doctor because I could not get the ones Sagerman took. Filed grievance with insurance and state board. I am refusing to pay bill.
