i saw dr. brandi yesterday after dealing with an ingrown nail that i was blessed with after a bad pedicure about a year ago. after seeing the amount of positive reviews i called to book an appointment. i called on a friday and managed to get an appointment quickly for the next week. the admin assistant stephanie was helpful on the phone with answering my questions regarding insurance and about the process. the office staff is lovely, as is the doctor herself. i told her i was nervous but she was very warm, welcoming, and down to earth. i showed her my nail and she explained why ingrowns happen, and what the surgery would look like if we went that route. she gave a thorough explanation of some options to dry before defaulting to surgery (foot soaks and fake nail on the toe to help steer the nail in the correct direction). we reviewed my daily rotation of shoes and it seems my birkenstocks are the best option right now (yay). i told them i would send an update in a few weeks. i am hopeful this will fix the issue and i wont need the surgery - but if it comes down to it i would trust her to take care of it for me. thank you dr. brandi and staff! :') if every medical visit was this easy going and relaxed i would never hate going to the doctor again.

Through thick and thin, good times and bad, Dr Meyers has always been a considerate advocate for me and my feet. When I’ve reached out for help or advice, from many places on the globe, she always responds and offers help where she can. I consider myself lucky to have Dr Meyers as a resource.

Dr Meyers CHANGED MY LIFE. I had been suffering from such severe foot pain that I only dreamed of walking a mile again in my own shoes. I was a 2 sport college athlete, and this debilitating foot pain (15yrs. Later) had left me literally hopeless. After seeing 2 other foot doctors, I was referred to Dr Meyers by a global specialist at OHSU. After my visit I recognized that Dr. Meyers was different. She was interested in healing me, not holding me as a patient. I remember her words as I left, “i hope we never meet again (something funny like that), because she believed that she had correctly diagnosed me and provided such a solid recovery plan that I would actually heal. 6mo. Later I am back to walking w-miles/week, riding peloton for 3hrs/week, and resuming weightlifting to failure.
Just recently I noticed that my son was having foot pain and I knew what to do 😉 we went to see Dr Meyers again and she gave us the best care. My son was engaged in conversation and felt the love. We are now working on our feet together, haha.

I CANNOT recommend anyone else more highly. I said it before and I say it often, my life is changed, and im back!

PS - Sellwood Podiatry is a sweet spot, beautiful and comfortable colors in an MCM design inside. I love the feeling from the front desk of warmth and hospitality, It feels like family.
