It was busy for Christmas Eve, and the wait times took about 1-1.5 hours. We didn’t mind because we knew it was Christmas Eve, and the workers there work extremely hard especially for working during Christmas.

That being said, the staff and medical professionals were extremely accommodating, kind, and caring to patients. They took amazing care of me, and they handle their work in such an efficient way! They’re extremely professional and I have heard they’re one of the best urgent cares in the area. Definitely recommend especially if you don’t mind waiting!

We have been waiting for nearly three weeks to get answers to our questions following a primary care appointment. Despite leaving messages through the Sharp app and calling directly, the doctor and staff have shown a lack of responsiveness and attentiveness to their responsibilities. Dr. Dembitsky recommended that my husband see a specialist but failed to issue the referral promptly. We had to follow up multiple times, only to face continued delays. When we finally called Sharp to schedule the specialist appointment, we were told it required further review and that someone would get back to us. Several days later, we’re still waiting for a response. I could go on and on about their low standard of care, go elsewhere if you value your health and sanity.

When did they stop taking cash. You'd think cash payments would be acceptable instead of card payments. Then they shame you by you owning them from the beginning of the year or months back that you can't remember because if they didn't take cash payment now you're like oh that's why because you all stop taking cash payment. When has cash not been good enough. Ridiculous and unprofessional. I hate being billed and owning. This is not good customer service when you don't accept payment in cash. Then problem lies with staff if you can't trust them not your patients.

The woman who checked me into Radiology was so unfriendly. Not even a smile. The woman who performed my Ultrasound was friendly and made me feel comfortable. The woman who did my mammogram made me feel uncomfortable with her frowning and lack of friendly conversation with me. A real shame.

I am so disappointed in the Sharp Downtown physicians. I have tried getting a very simple perscription filled and my chart updated to the physician I request 3 YEARS ago, and they don't call back, despite numerous messages being sent over to various doctors. Its unacceptable and ridiculous. I see the care at this location for its patients has gone down hill.

Background: During a recent visit for a routine adult physical we discussed weight gain. Come to find out that topic is now coded/billed as separate item. What used to be free early physical being turned into a billing opportunity.

I feel "any reasonable person" would include discussion of weight gain would be included as part of the "annual physical".

As a patient this has a "bad look", and makes me question why.

a) Either they want to discourage patients from getting annual physicals (b/c they don't make enough money)
b) Are trying maximize profits by billing for every possible thing that would be reasonable as part of a physical.
c) or both

Suggestion: *IF* sharp wants to continue with this practice, they should provide the patient with a list of included and not include topics for the physical before the visit.

More Hypothetical Questions: If during the physical:

* The doctor looks at a mole on my back, is that another billing code?
* If I mention I have ache in my elbow, is that another billing code?
* If I am have concerns about my menstrual cycle, is that another billing code?
* If I gained weight since my last physical, is that another code?

I now feel... afraid (I guess) for scheduling visits with my primary care physician that if I mention something I am going to be blindly billed for.

Maybe the physician should stop me if I speak out of turn

Make me sad.

They only have 2 handicapped parking spots in the entire parking structure! That is for the entire medical facility parking structure! Now why would a medical facility need handicapped parking anyway? I guess that's their logic. Two handicapped parking spots on the first level. I think they had like 3 pharmacy pick-up reserved spots next to them. So picking up Rx's is simple and easy, unless you are handicapped. I saw many elderly people who literally could not park in the structure. Also, many others with walkers and crutches who probably had extreme difficulty parking also. But I am sure the managers who work there had plenty of parking for their cars. Like I said, why would a medical facility bother with handicapped parking... I had to park in the turn-around area, unload my mom and her wheelchair, wheel her over to the elevators and leave her there, park in a regular parking spot, then walk up 2 floors to get her while she waited for the elevator. Not fun, but then again, I have to work for a living and my 80-year-old mother is in a wheelchair. I recommend you choose another Sharp location, anyone but the one on Fir Street, especially if you need handicapped parking.

You can improve on everything! Customer service is the worst -rude and too busy talking to eachother at the check in desk . They also are blaming a NEw system for all their issues will thats been going on since march get it together!!to talk to billing i waited Over 2 hours finally hung up i have a life!! My doctor both times were an OVER an hour late for my appointment only my first doc. apologized. The second doc was just rude and literally did nothing but refer me out to other doctors such a waste of my time and money worthless appointment. Don't expect to gave a follow up in a reasonable time frame my doctor told me she waited me back in two months but was booked up 5 months out then went on leave so my appointment was canceled ! Good luck with the app messages sometimes they get back to you. The customer leazon well also good luck there still waiting on that call back. New to sharp this year,it's literally been a nightmare getting anywhere and now being charged for an appointment that should of been covered . I do NoT recommend Sharp downtown . I have so many other issues with this place but i think you get the point and its not like me to be negative but this deserves better attention. I am not a happy patient.
