The positive written review below isn't what I would give this medical establishment since before 2018. I stand by the 1 star rating. I had similar experiences & difficulties with making appointments, getting returned calls, prescriptions, etc.

Additionally, I would not recommend Dr. Q who has her own practice in East Mesa. Dr. Chung, I would recommend as shes patient, compassionate, honest, and friendly.

My belief in naturopathy significantly changed as I found the root cause in my poor health. I was a true believer in naturopathy. Now I believe in TRULY advocating for oneself with an actual MD who went to medical school & has over 8 yrs of internships & residencies when they graduate. Some "doctors" such as these attend school for 4 years and are done; no residency, no internships. I believe the clinic hours they do aren't the same as an MD, i.e... medical doctor.
It's been my personal experience that Illnesses include those of the mind. Mental health is a vital component of overall health. Unknowingly having depression, anxiety, or other undiagnosed mental health illnesses in addition to stress play a significant role in my bodies ability to remain healthy.

Yes, I gave one star. But read on... The doctors here are top-notch. I was a patient here for about 3 years approximately. Dr. Q and Dr. Chung were amazing, caring, patient doctors; everything you would want in a doctor. I give them 5 stars. However, they are now gone. The lead doctor, whom i did not see, is very kind and patient, too, after dealing with her on the phone. The only thing that is discouraging about this place is the front office staff. The staff is nice but not as patient. They do not know how to deal with individuals who are "grumpy" when they are sick, and after years of calling the office and asking for an appt to be told, "hold on I don't do that" or "the person who takes appts will call you back" it is highly aggravating. It is very frustrating when you are at work and can't receive calls back as you are calling on your break/lunch. Also, be sure to verify the prices BEFORE you have a procedure done. I had a vitamin IV, and when I was done, she told me the price, and I was amazing how much it had gone up and that I WAS NOT TOLD before the appt. The lead doctor (the DO) took care of the issue, but not the problem. Also it seems that since they have grown, they dont' have time for patients who are acute (super sick) but do for those with chronic illnesses as those patients fill all the Vit IV slots, basically leaving you out of luck if you get sick and need to get a Vit IV Since Dr. Q and Dr. Chung have since left to begin their own practice (in Mesa) it is doubtful I will visit them again, nor will I ever recommend their facility. I will and have actually persuaded people to attend other facilities based on their lack of front office organization.

I am so thankful that My many months of research for a doctor, led to Dr. Mitchell. I had a horrible “uncommon” reaction to a steroid medication that led to me needing to see multiple specialty doctors… all which would recommend more medications for the various symptoms I now had. I believed I was in this horrible predicament because I had succumbed to the recommendation to take a medication, that come to find out, I really didn’t need. My life had taken an unexpected turn and I found myself feeling anxious and unable to trust doctors, until I met with Dr. Mitchell. Her approach to healing is one that targets the root cause of one’s symptoms, all while using and recommending the natural goodness created by Jehovah God (herbs/supplements naturally sourced). It has been a long journey of healing and recovering, but I can tell you, that having a provider who you can wholeheartedly trust, whose genuine desire is for your health and wellbeing… well, it has made this journey a hopeful one! Dr. Mitchell as well as the entire beautiful staff at Sunshine Health Care clinic, have truly been a blessing! ❤️

Exceptional patient care- my primary physician.
I have been seeing doctors at Sunshine for 4 years. I could not get into Dr. Mitchell at first but now she has been my exclusive primary care Dr. for two years.
I have never had a Dr this caring or helpful. The time spent talking to her and her listening skills are unlike any other GP or specialist in my past. Dr. Mitchell never suggests treatments or medications unless she knows that it will address my personal medical concerns. I cannot say enough about this practice overall. They have become like friends. I now drive down from Prescott because the care by everyone here is superior to what I have found elsewhere. Thank you to Dr. Mitchell and staff.

Sunshine Health is horrible to work with. They take forever to do anything. It takes numerous phone calls to get a prescription sent in or results from tests. Office staff are inept and basically clueless. Dr. Alex was the only good part of this office and he has left and they didn't even give his patients the respect to let them know he was gone. I have tried to get my chart sent to a reputable office and after numerous efforts and weeks later they still haven't done That! Would never refer anyone to this office.

I visited Sunshine Health for the first time last week. Dr. Alex was wonderful, he was very knowledgeable, caring and kind. I give this health facility 5 stars. The staff was outstanding, as well. The office was beautifully decorated and very clean. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Alex. I'm very grateful to find this naturopathic care facility.

I started coming here for my anxiety and depression. Between Angie, who does hypnotherapy, and Dr. Alex, I have found so much relief! Before sunshine I had been in years of traditional counseling and several different combinations of medications. I don’t know what the person is talking about with regards to an “inept staff”, but I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. Dr. Palasio knows her ish, and really works with Your I have had chronic back issues, and she has helped to alleviate the majority of the pain.

Dr. Mitchell is kind and compassionate. Her staff is also very helpful. I like the blend of holistic and western medicine.
