Today, I visited this Tesla Service Center for the first time to test drive three different vehicles. I had scheduled my appointments through the Tesla app and arrived a few minutes early for my first drive. Upon entering the small lobby, I was greeted and directed to wait for a sales team member. Shortly after, Kay, a sales team member, welcomed me and set me up for my test drive. She was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and efficient, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The test-driving experience itself was excellent.

The showroom, however, is quite basic. As the name suggests, this location functions more as a service center than a traditional dealership. The lobby offers plenty of seating and refreshments for those waiting, but it lacks the polished presentation one might expect from a Tesla showroom. Parking is very limited, and restrooms are available.

Overall, I was a bit surprised by the simplicity of the facility, as I had anticipated something closer to a dealership experience. That said, the name accurately reflects its purpose. Despite this, I was very pleased with the exceptional service from Kay and thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Excellent experience here with great customer service. Despite the very strange setting, this service center is friendly and efficient. The entrance for service is clearly marked, however there are so many cars here parked in such a haphazard way that it is difficult to see. It reminded me of an old school salvage yard where you just have to know where to park, where to pay, etc. When you go inside, the team there is super friendly and organized! It's the strangest dichotomy! You're essentially sitting inside the shop with a small partition wall of pipe and drape that's about 5.5 feet tall. You can see and hear the techs doing their work. My service was done super quickly and with 0 hassle. I definitely recommend this place just because of how professional and efficient the team was. Hopefully tesla corporate will spruce up the visitor area, and get a parking solution figured out. Overall... don't hesitate to schedule your service here, but be aware that it's somewhat chaotic.

I was excited to pick up my brand new Tesla.

That was, until I arrived at the Pensacola location. On my particular delivery day, it happened to be raining. I flew up to Pensacola and came prepared. I had a checklist and more than an hour of time set aside to complete my inspection before hitting the road for my 400+ mile [6+ hr] drive home.

I arrived at 9:30 am - 30 min prior to my appointment. When my Uber dropped me off, it was overcast and lightly misting and the parking lot area was already kind of muddy. Around 10:15 a sales associate came out to get someone else’s paperwork going. I misheard the name she called and so I approached her. She let me know that I didn’t have any paperwork but that I should be able to just open the app on my phone to locate the car and directed me outside. Now it is lightly raining. I go ahead and approach the car and begin to give it a cursory look over. Immediately, I see how dirty the cars is - making it really difficult to perform any kind of exterior inspection.

I go back inside and ask the sales person when the car would be washed and moved inside so that I could actually inspect the vehicle. Her response was to tell me not to worry and that I can drive it home and do the inspection there. I let her know that my home was a little over 400 miles from there which is why I needed to complete my inspection at the dealership - as a few of my friends and fellow Tesla owners have done. She then suggested, that I drive across the street and park under the overhang of a nearby gas station. She noted that she couldn’t actually give me permission to park over there, but they would “probably be okay with it.” I then asked about any kind of waiver of the mileage given the circumstances to which she promptly said no - even though they would not provide me with a reasonable opportunity to inspect the car there.

I then asked again about the car getting washed to which she let me know it would be 30 minute wait for someone to get to it. I had no choice to wait, so I did and it was definitely longer than 30 minutes before the car returned from being washed. I saw it pulling up so I walked back outside only to see the car wash guy exiting the car without ever placing paper mat in the car so now the drivers side floor had visible sandy/dirty/muddy prints. Somehow, he thought the right move was to remove the factory floor mat and put it in the back seat. I get the feeling that the plan was to get the floor dirty and the put the mat back over it, but I walked up on him before he got the chance to hide it.

Overall the wash helped some, but given that it was still raining and I was still outside inspecting the car, it was minimally helpful. I ended up taking a couple of hours to look over the car the best I could given the circumstances. I found a number of issues both interior and exterior, but nothing too alarming, though disappointing.

I would have stayed longer but I finally had to call it quits because I still had a 6+ hour drive home and had to get back to my son.

Just as I was about to leave, I asked to borrow a screwdriver and have some screws to mount my license plate. This turned into another 20-30 min thing because apparently, all 4 screws that should have come with the car were absent, and they don’t just have extras sitting around. Eventually, the service manager was able to locate 2 so that I could at least get on the road.

Before leaving, I was able to chat with one of the guys in service. He was incredibly nice and apologetic - a nice change from the sales person I had spoken with earlier.

I was there from 9:30 am until about 2 pm, and I only saw ONE other car being delivered during that time. This wasn’t a matter of the end of year rush and being overwhelmed with the many customers who Im sure jumped on the great deals/financing at the end of the year.

Literally the worst car pickup experience I've ever had.

I was so excited to pick up my used vehicle at Tesla, however, my entire day was ruined with the following story.

I arrived about 30 minutes late due to my own poor planning, so this part may have been avoidable; I was trying to follow the directions on my app but could not find the vehicle because my vehicle had the wrong plate number. No big deal. This building is kind of confusing because it doesn't look like your typical dealership, it looks like a junkyard or a maintenance yard for Teslas so you wouldn't expect the customer service to be in the same entrance as the vehicle drop off. I finally found representative and they directed me to my vehicle, they had no idea what came with my car, we had to pop open all the hoods to see what kind of accessories were available. The advisor was very ill-prepared and did not do a final inspection.
The car was disgusting and has an odor. I have to pay for a detailer to come and clean what they should have done in shop. I would never buy a used car here again. I brought this up to every representative I spoke with at the shop and they said they would let their manager know because there was no manager on site. I still have not heard from anyone from Tesla to apologize for this letdown. I took the attached photos on site before I moved the car. When I tell you I was really excited, I had even purchased and brought all weather floor mats expecting this car to be clean, and not wanting to dirty it.

Additionally, when I went to Best buy to purchase a Tesla charging cable, a sensor error came up on my vehicle and I had to return to store to have it fixed. The tires were all different pressures meaning they didn't check the tire pressure, I don't know what else they didn't check. They had to replace both of the front tire sensors for me which they should have caught in the 2-week lead Time for them to do their inspections and cleaning. Here are just a few photos of how disgusting the car was.

My family prepared me for poor customer service from Tesla, but no one could have prepared me for this absolute disappointment. This is my dream car and I would have loved to have a great experience but unfortunately I will not be referring any of my friends to Tesla unless they buy a new vehicle, even then I'm going to warn them that they may want to consider a different electric vehicle due to the customer service.

Possibly the worst delivery center on earth. Not only did they not want to release my vehicle over 21 cents (a miss-calculation on there part and made we wait 6 hours to get it resolved) but they did not include any of the key cards and I had broken parts in my truck. Other people hearing my situation were shocked that this was actually happening. Yes the truck was filthy as well...

As for the staff, the employees are rude, condescending, and feel entitled, they are passive aggressive and thrive on pushing you to your breaking point. Horribly understaffed as well and they will tell you to park on other businesses parking spots because they have none. They are parking inventory / delivery vehicles in the woods, forget about even gravel lots, actual forest with wildlife running around. Sad.

Its not even a delivery center its is a repair center that they have put some ghetto canvas walls and tried to BS there way to make it appear as a delivery center. So enjoy picking your 120K vehicle in this circus, because you'll be part of the show.

Do your self a favor and set your deliver center to Kennesaw, GA or Brandon, MS and avoid this dumpster fire of a delivery enter. They need to all be fired or go back to being just a service center and not handle deliveries.

I’ve had several bad experiences at this dealership. We’ll start with the first one. My first experience with the “illustrious” service center the manager told me that they were waiting on approval to repair my Tesla, as it sat on their lot, under a tree, parked in fallen branches and limbs, and accumulated much debris and stains that could never be removed. Partial promised repairs were done (at my request, the day I picked up my vehicle, from the service center). I was repeatedly told that my car was “at the body shop” and waiting to be painted. After sitting there for over 3 weeks, nothing had been done and SHOCKER the paint wasn’t approved for repair. So, I pleaded with them to repair the rest of the promised repairs and I picked up my vehicle that day, 3 weeks after discovering that nothing had in fact been done to it in the three weeks that it sat there it had gotten abused by the elements. When I picked it up it had adhesive/tape residue stuck to the vehicle’s paint and reflectors, from their tail light replacement job. They “polished” my taillights and put scratches and swirls in them to make them match each other bc one was scratched upon picking it up the first day I picked it up in delivery. These scratches were on the repair ticket. They replaced the cracked lamps and swirled them all up to have them all match. How disgusting is that?

Recently, another horror story: as you know Tesla has dropped the ball on their quality and being a well informed 2nd Tesla buyer, I decided to decline a new vehicle upon the inspection, having determined that the trunk door on a brand new 2024 model Y was not in alignment with the rear of the vehicle. It was slanted. So, on the lot sat one more vehicle, exactly like the one I ordered. I was offered this as a replacement, on the spot, and I declined this one as well, as it had been sitting parked under a tree gathering debris and stains (and I’ve already been down this road before), so the sales lady put my order on hold. I repeatedly asked her “what do I do next.” She did not inform me that I’d be matched to the vehicle on the lot that she’s just offered to me as a replacement. I was reassigned a new VIN, and guess which one that was! You probably guessed it! It was the piece of junk with its own issues that had been left sitting under a tree, for only God knows how long on that junk yard of a lot. Someone else’s reject, perhaps. I was then told that I’m out of options, as this was my 2nd assigned Vin. What a joke!

So, as far as I’m concerned this dealership is garbage, from the top down.

In addition: The manager was the initial one who had informed me that he doesn’t see any reason why Tesla wouldn’t agree to repair the awful paint job (quicksilver), which had an innumerable amount of bubbles and/or grit, under the paint. So for three weeks he told me that we were “waiting on approval” for the paint to be repaired on my first Tesla. That timing is uncalled for and unacceptable.

Consider yourselves WARNED! Just TAKE A LOOK at the rest of these raving reviews. I’m convinced the dealer themselves may be the ones rating themselves higher than the one and 2 stars you mainly see on here

Extremely overcrowded, cars as far as the eye can see outside under trees shedding leaves, pollen and one small branch on them.

No parking anywhere. I had to illegally park đŸ€«.

Delivery drivers seemed to have a number of issues with getting help and offloading their vehicles. The Tesla employees seemed to be very friendly and helpful, but very overwhelmed. They forgot to put my two key cards in the car on delivery 🙁 After 20 min on the phone waiting I reached them and they’re in the mail đŸ€ž. This is NOT the way someone should experience Tesla outside the car!

*the staff were great, so not on them. Get a suitable facility please.

We had the best experience today on our demo drive of a Model 3 and Model X. Mayra was so wonderful and knowledgeable. Someone greeted us in the parking lot, we walked in, signed a waiver and we were in a Tesla within 10 minutes. I was shopping for a Model 3 and my parents were so impressed they are interested in buying a Tesla for their next car. Thank you Mayra!
