I have recently used Vista Health on two separate occasions and both were positive experiences. I was able to get appointments very quickly and all customers service was impeccable. When undertaking the procedures all the staff members I dealt with were welcoming and reassuring. Felicity at the Liverpool centre was exceptionally good! (Thank you for putting me at ease, it’s very much appreciated!) This is the first time I have paid privately for diagnostic procedures and obviously there’s the cost consideration, however, I would definitely say the price is reasonable, especially for piece of mind. I would definitely recommend Vista Health and will use again in the future if the need arises. Thanks.

Lovely facilities, got booked in for an MRI within a couple of days of enquiring about it. Results, report and pictures, emailed to me 2 days later. Only downside is the cost but I guess that's private health care.

Overall okay. The private MRI I had was very quick. Obviously expensive but the cheapest and quickest I found. I wasn't told that I could speak in the MRI and that they could turn the aircon off. Since I had my entire spire scanned, I had to lie completely still for 45 mins which was extremely uncomfortable. My arm and hands went numb in the cold and when I said it was cold the man told me I could have said to turn the aircon off, although I thought being completely still meant I couldn't speak! ?
The doctor I booked with for an appointment to explain my results was friendly at first but she said near the end of the call that it was coming to an end when I had questions regarding the results/my health. The email didn't state that the call was only 15 mins long and half of it was spent reading what I already knew and asking about my health condition before explaining the results. I found it very rude that she dismissed me and I didn't feel I could ask anymore questions to why I've had back ache for months on end. It wasn't worth the £40 to be told to do yoga and have correct posture!

I've been suffering pain in my lower back for at least 4 years and was becoming increasingly concerned as to what's causing it.
On Wednesday 14/08/24 I had a private MRI scan on my lower back through Vista Health in Salford.
The whole process was incredibly easy from start to finish.
The booking procedure was easy and provided by friendly staff via a telephone call on Monday 12/08/24.
An appointment was booked for 2 days ahead and I surprisingly found the cost to be a lot more reasonable than I was anticipating.
The centre in Salford is easily accessible from the motorway and based within an out-of-town retail park. There were plenty of car parking spaces available.
At the centre I was seen promptly and supported courteously by staff upon my arrival.
The staff ensured my safety by going through a questionnaire about my health, they talked me through the procedure and offered a pillow for my comfort. They then gave me ear plugs to protect my ears and offered headphones which played music to help distract me from the sound of the scanner.
The time taken from entering through the doors of the centre to leaving only took 30 minutes in total. It was very impressed.
I received a report and copies of my scan via email on the morning of Friday 16/08/24.
I've since learned that within the area of Wales where I live, GP's are "not allowed" to refer patients to our health board for MRI.
I am just SO glad that I took the initiative and went ahead to book this procedure myself. It's made so much easier too as you don't require a referral from your GP for it.
It's already proved to be an excellent investment in my health and wellbeing.
I shared the scan results with my GP and they highlighted issues that my GP is now in the process of addressing.
I think it was worth EVERY penny as it comfirmed my suspicions and gave me a diagnosis.

I'd recommend your excellent services to anyone and wouldn't hesitate use your services again in future if needed.

Terribly cold and unfriendly staff. At my appointment today a girl made a botched attempt at getting a cannula in my arm, it was very painful yet she kept pushing the needle in. She whispered to the doctor who came in afterwards that ‘it had failed’, no apology, no mention it would have to be done again etc. The doctor (I assume he was a doctor but had no introduction) did it in my other arm with no issues. Scan completed and then told to go to the waiting room for 15 minutes before leaving. Had to navigate my own way, no staff there to escort me out. It was so unprofessional and the NHS can do better than this. Ship the staff out and put staff in there who want to be there and who understand that a kind welcome and some reassurance when you’re having a scan is part of the job.

It’s great to have such a brilliant service where you don’t need to have a GP referral. The MRI took place within 24 hours of booking and the results came back 4 days after. The scans are excellent and very in-depth. It’s a little expensive but highly recommended if you need results fast.

I recently used Vista Health Salford for an Abdomen Ultrasound for which I went private it was worth every penny to put my mind at rest. Though the radiographer was very professional and clear. The Ultrasound was the worst Ultrasound I have ever had. It was VERY painful. But that experience was better than the appointment I had in the same place for an E.C.G. on the N.H.S. 31st July was the date of my appointment and still no results but there is a backlog.

Fantastic experience from start to finish,appointment was on time and I was given very thorough examination .Results were sent within 3 days to myself and GP .We will definitely use Vista again 100%
